I've seen the latest Final Destination. Well, I could say that I've been a follower of this movie since its first release. From the beginning I like the story and the twists but lately, I just realized that it's been a non-sense plot line.

For the nth time, I could not believe that I'm seeing the same plot over and over again. As I write my essay on this film, I still recall the things that this film is trying to cater. Okay, they are catering a horror; blood and sometimes unbelievable. But what I see is the old school. I don't have any against old school, it's just that, it is the same flavor, aroma and alike. In one word, repetitive or monotonous. It does not give a new look on it. No matter how they put any flavoring, it just boils down into one and same flavor. Same plot line, an over reaction twists that does not fit the scenes. You don't get the same feeling of scary, screaming, the suspense you experienced the first time you saw it.

Don't get me wrong, I like old school stuff like Charlie Chaplin style but today we can see those stuff with new appearance or look that's why people still grab and hold it. In this film, old school enough with a boring stuff. No changes at all. They just stick to what they have from the start. They did not give an extra effort to make it unique somehow.

I hope this kind of style would change soon so that more film enthusiasts will dig on it.
